Yes, folks, you intrepid Girlco photographer went outside the boundaries of the Metroplex (this makes twice - lol) to do a location shoot with Katie M. She's going off to the Uninversity of Arkansas within a few days! I had no idea how far away Whitesboro was until I asked during the trip up, "Where in the h*** are we!" It rained on and off during the one hour ride, but the weather held just fine for the shoot.

We did the shoot on location at Katie's family horse ranch. Yes, you heard correctly. A horse ranch with real horses! This City Slicker hadn't seen ONE horse up close and personal before let alone over 25 of them - lol. I couldn't resist doing my Mr. Ed impressions for the gathered crowd and they (the horses) couldn't resist not laughing. The ranch was huge! The scenary choices were just stunning!

We did shots with a horse named Gunny, we got some shots at a watering hole where we had a group of cows for an audience and finally we trekked along a very large creek to get a last series of shots. The day was hot, but awesomely exciting! I wa assisted by Katie's sister, Jodi, who did laugh at my jokes even of the horses didn't.
